Additional duties include drafting analyses and participating in special projects.
Applicants must hold a Juris Doctor degree and have at least two years of experience practicing law. A current license to practice law in North Dakota is required.
ND HHS describes its mission as aiming “to make North Dakota the healthiest state in the nation by reinforcing the foundations of well-being: physical, economic, and behavioral.” The agency notes that services are delivered locally whenever possible with an emphasis on dignity and respect. ND HHS employs approximately 2,800 staff members and manages more than $6 billion from nearly 200 funding sources.
