According to WSI: “WSI believes that every worker deserves a safe work environment and every employer deserves to have their workers safe on the job, without the risk of a workplace injury.” The organization notes its dedication “to creating a safe, secure, and healthy North Dakota workforce.”

The agency highlights that it has been recognized by the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network Top 10 Workplace awards in both 2017 and 2023. It emphasizes core values of loyalty, caring, forthrightness as well as servant leadership guiding its mission “to care for injured workers.”

WSI affirms equal employment opportunity: “The State of North Dakota and this hiring agency do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, genetics, religion, age or disability in employment or the provisions of services and complies with the provisions of the North Dakota Human Rights Act.” Smoking is prohibited in all state employment locations according to N.D.C.C. § 23-12-10.
