Students from Solen and Wing High Schools visited the North Dakota Supreme Court on February 19 as part of their American Government classes. During the visit, they observed an oral argument and had the opportunity to meet with Chief Justice Lisa Fair McEvers and Justice Douglas Bahr.

The justices discussed various aspects of their roles, including what a typical work schedule looks like for a justice, procedures involving remanded cases, and the process required to become an attorney or judge. The students were able to ask questions directly to the justices.

Following their time at the Supreme Court, the group toured legislative chambers to further their understanding of state government.
